Market Research

From time to time the Www.teamhively.com market research department, or contractors and service providers operating on its behalf, may conduct online research surveys in order to gather feedback about our Website and opinions on important issues, through email invitations, pop-up surveys and online focus groups. When participating in a survey, we may ask you to submit Personally Identifiable Information. Data retention: Access to historical data is necessary for Hively customers and as such we do not limit the retention period of live data. Daily backups are retained for a period of 60 days.
Individual rights: If at any time you wish to have personally identifying information removed you may submit a Subject Access Request. Hively respects the following personal rights:

  • The right of access;
  • The right to rectification;
  • The right to erasure;
  • The right to restrict processing;
  • The right to data portability;
  • The right to object; and
  • The right not to be subject to automated decision-making including profiling.

Collection of data by 3rd parties

The following parties are involved in the collection of data:

  • Linode LLC – 249 Arch St. Philadelphia, PA 19106. Stores data on behalf of the Website in London, United Kingdom. Data is retained indefinitely and is compliant with relevant privacy legislation.
  • Amazon Inc. 410 Terry Avenue North Seattle, WA 98109 United States. Stores data on behalf of the Website in Frankfurt, Germany. Data retention period is 90 days and is compliant with relevant privacy legislation.

Personal data

Personal data including your name and email address may be recorded through the Website, if so configured by our end customers. This information is recorded with full visibility to the rater and is done to enhance our end customers’ understanding of the ratings that they receive. The data may not be shared outside of the end customers’ organisation without the explicit consent of the rater.

Transfer of Ownership

If the entire or substantial ownership of our Website were to change, your user information may be transferred to the new owner so the service can continue operations. In any such transfer of information, your user information would remain subject to the promises of our then current Privacy Policy.
